Field trips wrap up the school year

Our students spent most of their time on field trips during the last days of CATC classes. First, they extended their semester-long study of 20th Century American art as well as other art forms in docent-led tours of the Cincinnati Art Museum.  Area campus tours were among the activities that focused on helping the students prepare for life and work after high school. At Mount St. Joseph University and Cincinnati State, they learned about campus life and programs, admission requirement and processes, and heard inspiring personal stories from their guides. CATC students with disabilities toured Ohio Valley Goodwill Industries, which provides professional and comprehensive vocational rehabilitation services to men and women with disabilities. The students learned about how Goodwill and its workers serve and participate in the community, and the many types of jobs available.  View slide show.
