Salena McKenzie

Digital multi-media

“As someone who didn’t delve into art until college, I’ve learned it’s never too late to develop your creativity or grow your personal and practical abilities. Having the opportunity to demonstrate these insights to CATC students makes teaching here more rewardng every day.”

Background

Salena McKenzie’s education and career experiences have always been about balance.  She taught herself analog film photography techniques in a strictly digital program at Northern Kentucky University, and had a commercial studio photography job at the Cincinnati Art Museum, a fine arts setting. Likewise, she strives to balance a creative and practical lifestyle, and describes CATC as the “perfect environment for equilibrium” where she can share her insights on balancing all aspects of life with CATC students.
