Back to CATC! Color wheels, ceramic slabs, Photoshop, a TV show!

We’re off to a big start as the students return for the 2015-2016 school year, including announcing a 94% graduation rate, and a national television show with a segment featuring CATC.

Students piled off their buses at Longworth Hall in mid-September, greeted at the door and in the lobby by CATC staff, with many hugs and happy reunions.  Now they’re learning Photoshop in digital multi-media, color wheels in 2D (drawing and painting), starting with slabs in ceramics, and studying unity, pattern and movement in the 3D (3-dimensional arts) studio.

To punctuate our 94% graduation rate for the 2014-2015 school year , CATC was featured as part of  a nationwide public television broadcast celebrating American Graduate Day 2015 on October 3. Ms. Clara and CATC students Destiny B. and Alexis P. spent Sunday afternoon at CET studios for the filming. Makeup, microphones, producers and camera crews made for an exciting day.
