Life skills training prepares BTG students for workplace success

CATC students who have been accepted into the CATC Bridging the Gap workforce development program have now completed life skills training. It’s a critical step in learning how to succeed in the workplace, from planning a career through job interviews and on-the-job professional behavior. In these sessions, Ms. Yolanda Hill, from Cincinnati Works, led the students in rehearsing for job interviews. They learned how to prepare 30-second self-introductions, the importance of entering an interview with a handshake and eye contact, posture, demeanor, questions to ask and how to answer questions during an interview.
