Next: careers and bright futures

Thirty-five CATC graduating seniors are on their way to meaningful careers in health care, banking, general business or manufacturing. They’ve completed the school-year portion of the CATC Bridging the Gap work-force development program and are ready to begin summer training at Cincinnati Works. Then, on to specific training in their chosen career tracks. A ceremony at CATC included certificate presentations by Abasi Key and Rhonda Summerlin of Jobs for Cincinnati Graduates.  Discussions about what it takes to succeed in the workplace followed, with Bridging the Gap workforce coordinator Matthew Long and employer-partner Bill Lecher of Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and Medical Center and CATC board member. Then, cake and snacks with proud families, Bridging the Gap staff and partners. View slide show.
