Planning life after high school

During College and Career Week in January, students  took time away from their studios to think about life after high school. Presentations by area college representatives and employers provided an opportunity to consider the impact that higher education and a well-paying career can have on their futures. Representatives from Chatfield College, Cincinnati State, Gateway Community and Technical College, Northern Kentucky University, and University of Cincinnati talked with the students about course offerings and shared advice about everything from admission processes to how to make the transition to higher education. The students were introduced to the Bridging the Gap program and learned about potential career tracks in health care, manufacturing, and banking through presentations by representatives from Christ Hospital, Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and Medical Center, General Tool, Partners for a Competitive Workforce, and PNC Bank.   Full slideshow
