Preparing for Yellowstone at Pyramid Hill Sculpture Park

It was good practice for Yellowstone…hiking up steep hills at Pyramid Hill Sculpture Park. Learning to read maps to find their way in unknown territory. Noticing their surroundings, from discovering a bird’s nest with tiny hatchlings, to seeking the source of coral light shining through a large stone sculpture. They grew together as a team, learning, with Ms. Laura’s guidance, to identify their own and each other’s strengths, and using that knowledge to determine who should lead, who should follow depending on the task.  They’ll need all of these skills at Yellowstone. They’re almost ready. See slide show.
