Yellowstone, we did it!

Ten CATC students have returned from an expedition to Yellowstone National Park, where they admired beautiful wildlife, practiced teamwork, conservation and stewardship, cooked their own meals and met fellow travelers from all over the world. On the last day there, they climbed Bunsen Peak 2.1 miles to the 8,527 ft. summit, while carrying and sharing the weight of a 15lb ceramic egg carved with their names. In journals and a daily blog, they recorded their observations and began planning how they’ll express what they learned at Yellowstone through their art, as they return to CATC to study “A Hero’s Journey,” the fall semester theme at CATC.
